- South Africa
- Lead a team
- Meet our volunteers
Volunteer with Skillshare International and you will support one of our partner organisations in South Africa, Lesotho or Botswana. We're also opening up in Mozambique and Nepal for April 2016 departures, information of which will follow. Our volunteers live with host families from the local community. This helps you to become fully immersed in the culture of the community and forge relationships that will last a lifetime. On arrival in your placement country all volunteers receive in-country training which will give you a chance to get to know your team, learn about the culture and find our more about your placement and the issues affecting your host community.
LesothoLesotho is the size of Belgium but with a population of approximately 1.8m. It is entirely surrounded by South Africa and is known as The Kingdom in The Sky, with breathtaking scenery composed of rugged mountains, deep valleys, waterfalls, and two enormous dams that provide neighbouring South Africa with water. Our partners in Lesotho are based in rural areas outside of Mafeteng. Find out more about our ICS partner organisations in Lesotho. |
